I'm cleaning out some drawers of "stuff". I came across this one side. I thought I better check here before it hits the scrap heap. The pic on the gun is my M66. The locator pin hole fits. Would it be a factory stock ? It appears to be oak.

If it is on a K frame Model 66 S&W, it would not be big enough to fit a Mew Model 3 and way too small for a 44 DA, especially with the rounded front toe. The only other large round butt top-break is the Model 3 Russian Models, but looks too small for those Models as well.

K frame Model 66 round butts should be basically the same size as the old K frames, but I am not familiar with Model 66 Combat Magnum grip frames. If the round butt of the Model 66 is the same size as the Model 10, that stock will likely not fit any S&W revolver from any time period.

I believe this is correct.... I just didn't want to see a grip like this down the road and think "Oh NOOOOOO , I threw one of those away "

Thanks..Now my conscience will be clear when they hit the scrap heap :)

Let me buy it from you!

I'll keep it safe for Posterity, and who knows, maybe the B Side will jump out of a junk Box at a Gun show! Lol...

Otherwise, as others have said, looks to be non Factory, Oak, and, nicely done.

I'l message you.

I bought .32 TB floral/wild turkey single panel a while back. Still hoping to stumble into the other side.:)

Looks to me like perhaps early .38 M&P. As said, it's too bad you don't have the mate to it.
