Is this the M mod mark on the 686-1

Hello All,
I won this firearm yesterday at auction. In my research and forum posts I kept seeing their was a recall on the 686 and 686-1. I can barely see the top of a M above the 686-1. I was wondering if was the mark? There's also stamps on top of the yoke numbers. Sorry for the firearm being dirty. I couldn't resist shooting it. Thanks in advance for any info. Boats

Yes, it is the "M"....laid down by someone in a hurry. Numbers on the yoke are assy numbers. Serial number dates to early summer, 1987.
