maybe it's just my OCD or maybe it's something else. But the slide on my fullsize 9, isn't perfectly parallel with the frame, lol.

The muzzle end, is maybe 1 MM higher than the rear. I'm using the gap between the slide and frame as my line of sight.

It's pretty common. I was surprised when I took out the magazine on mine the first time and could see all the way through the gap from one side to the other side of the gun. If it shoots okay it's fine though.

My Colt 1911's have no such mismatched slides or daylight.

They've all been tuned by my gunsmith, so this may not be a fair comparison with plastic pistols.

My 1911's all group less than 2" at 25 yards.

None have ever had a malfunction of any sort.
