No mention of attending Savannah's Saint Patrick's Day Parade and celebration on River Street?? For decades it's been among the best annual parties in the nation.
With a granddaughter at the fountain among the Spanish Moss draped oaks in Savannah's Forsyth Park.

Cool town, great place to relax with a lot of views.
I liked the old, converted riverfront cotton warehouses.
Sitting in a bar when the view thru the small window was obscured by an ocean going freighter I swore I could reach out and touch.
