Back in the old days I was a First lieutenant Army Military police. My son retired from the Phoenix police after 20 years, Last year my oldest grandson joined the Phoenix force and has been on the streets for a year. Today my granddaughter graduates from the academy and will join her brother. I am so proud of these kids for their service

I wish them all the best. It's not the same job today that it was when I started in 1980. The operating environment is SO much more hostile now.
