Seems like S&W are using the same lower with integrated trigger guard and the same barrel on the "T" model sooo....The castle nut, I guess.

Everything you listed except for the BCG. It's hard to tell in the photos but I have a different BCG in there.

All the other accessories that didn't come with the Sport, with exception to the upper and quad rail, came off of my old AR15. I traded that one to get the Sport mostly because of the barrel. And I wanted another project I guess and the Sport provided a good base.

HAHA, no way Grover. I think you still have all of us beat! Plus you used the left over parts from your Sport to spawn another AR.....nuf said.

I haven't been out to shoot it yet so I'm dying to find out how she runs. But so far I like the look and feel of it hands down over my old mid-length. I've built lowers before but this is my first upper build/swap.

So far she handles like a dream. Albeit, I am not using the OEM BCG. My old AR was a Frankenstein and since I built the lower myself, I got a hold of an old Bushmaster Post-Ban (yes I live in one of those states) carbine style buffer tube and stock. The tube was rifle length and required a rifle length buffer. With the Sport however, the tube is longer than a normal carbine, but it's designed for use with a carbine buffer and spring. I have found this combination less noisy and smoother. The rifle buffer was horrible. Also the muzzle brake I had on my old AR was louder than all get out. It was a YHM brake. I love the target crown on the sport and the fact that all the noise is sent down range. The gun just feels better in hand and cycles smoother. Accuracy wise, I am still trying to get her dialed in. I am hitting 12" plates at 130 yards benched, but my groups aren't very tight, but that is more me, not the rifle.

I don't know what I will do with the spare parts. I'd love to build another AR. It makes me wish I hadn't sold my other lower. At the time I didn't think I needed it and so I traded it towards a winchester Model 94 30.30 (really great gun, the AR15 of the old west). We'll see....

Yeah...I understand...now that the barrel is broken in on my homebuild, I have a dpms free float tubular handguard that I am going to put on it but I have been spending more time working on my Rossi 92 Brass/Stainless levergun in 45colt..I am going to keep some of my spare parts for "just in case" but I am just going to shoot what I have and get better at reloading. I may in the future look for a 20 or 24 inch barrel for my homebuild but not for a while.
