My first encounter was a 6" Mod. 610 wearing combat grips with a price tag that I thought was too high. I went home, did my research and went back to buy it but, it was already gone.

Three years later, I had a second change at an NIB Mod. 610 with a 3 7/8" barrel, unflutted cylinder with all the docs. Changed the front sight for the gold/brass bead, It is a shooter and a keeper!

The gun makes the Spegel's look great (or is it the other way around??... :)

My 3 Model 610s have all been opened up to also fire the 10MM Magnum cartridge as has my 310 Night Guard

My 6 1/2" has probably been fired the most

My 5" has probably been fired the least

I no longer carry the 3" Model 610 ever since the 2 1/2" Model 310 was introduced

What an impressive collection, there!:)

Congrats to all the 610 owners, especially the lucky no-dash custodians.
My own foray into the 610's began when they were brand new. A friend & I took his new 6.5" 610 to the range. Great shooter! Then we started shooting .40 S&W in it. Pretty tame but the .40 was our current Division-issue at the time (so plentiful). I REALLY wanted a 610 but kept looking for a 5". Whenever I located one, out-of-budget.
Since then, I've had to satisfy the revolver/auto itch with the "10MM short" or .40S&W. The 625's certainly help too:).

They will have to suffice until the elusive 5" 610 appears;).
