It's 6/29 Day!!

Just "WOW"

75Vette,
I am not worthy...
I humbly offer, for your perusal, my lone 629, a dash 6, that rides on my hip, during rifle elk, deer, and 'lope, just in case the .30-06 leaves 'em wounded (it hasn't, yet).

New 629

Start off by saying that is a beautiful collection. I bought my first 629 in 1980. 10 years later I owed a buddy a big favor and he asked me to sell him that gun. With much sadness I did. He moved out of town and I never saw the gun again. Yesterday I bought another 629 and my life is now complete again. I am a happy man.

I got only 2, 4'' and 8 3/8. The 4'' is one of my favorites, well they both are. Running drills makes them dirty.

Going forward, you gotta get a Snooker table. If it will fit in your man space.

Not a big magnum guy. Just these two 629's that I also posted in the "Pairs" thread [different photo]). I also have two 29's, but these threads have been month specific, so I'll just post my consecutively serial numbered pair of 629-1 Iditarod commemoratives of 1988.

Adios,

What a great thread :D
I'd like to add one more
This is my favorite six gun, a plain old 4" dash one.
It's been back to the factory more than once for a tune and rebuild
I've got the original speed loader targets and the original two piece pach's that I bought years ago but my favorite stocks are an old set of refinished troopers, that are very comfortable with magnum loads.
The target was shot after returning from its last rebuild, its semi retired now
