It's 6/29 Day!!

I am not a big fan of the 44 Magnum

However, it is hard to have a collection of Smith & Wesson revolvers and not own a representative or two

The first couple are easy, because I do LOVE N-frame snubbies

The first 629 I ever bought was a 4" and that was mostly because there were no 3" 629s floating around back then. Not to mention it is P&R

Now when we get to 657 day, then I will pull out the Big Guns

Hey Tin Knocker
I just came down off the building because I remembered one more photo I grabbed out of photo bucket.
I called it hammer time

Hey rod buster, I guess since you're the boss you can give yourself a break for something that important! :D That was the pic that gave me the idea of rackin' em up on the table. How many 4"ers were you up to? 24??

Sadly, I don't own any Smith & Wesson Model 629s and probably never will, which is really sad because it's easily my favorite Revolver.

Once upon a time I had an opportunity to purchase a like new 629-2 with a 6.5" Barrel for $250, but I didn't have the money at the time so I missed out. In hindsight, I should have either found a way to scrap together $250 or asked someone to lend me the cash because I've bitterly regretted it ever since.

OK, Let's see if I can post my 629 no dash transitional. No pin, but recessed cylinder with Culina black and white ebony grips

That's a unique gun for sure Pete. I have early and late model 29-6s, one square butt, one round.
Looove the b&w ebony grips. Might oughta call Jennifer...

Heck no
:D
That would be excessive
One no dash
One no dash 1 transitional
One dash1
One slightly modified mountain revolver
A few newer ones that live in the range bag
And a pair of light weights

I have been waiting for 6/29 day and present my modest contribution. A 629-5 Classic DX and a 629-5, 4" with combat grips. Both are favorites and great shooters.

To bad I missed 6/10 day.

Great photos and nice collections from 1 to so many, that I lost count! Great job to all who participated.

It's finally here! 629 Day! I haven't done a pool table pic in a while and have added a few since the last time so here we go. I'm sure some will notice the six 29s mixed in. I found it hard to neglect them seeing as they're all family too.
Show us what you have guys.

Show Off !! Just kidding . As always you have an impressive collection / accumulation of .44 magnums brother !
