Stopped by a pawn shop just an the off chance I might find treasure and got this gem.

This Model 24-3 was sitting pretty in the display case and walked with me for $750 flat out the door. Quite a handsome wheelie to gather dust in hock so I took it home!

Great score on a beautiful revolver! I wouldn't have been able to pass it up either. It could use a few shims on the right side of the hammer pin to stop the frame rubbing that is evident on the case coloring of the hammer. My model 14 has the exact same rub pattern. I added a few shims on both sides of the hammer. It is a tedious process to get the correct amount on each side without too many which will bind the hammer when tightening down the side plate. It also improves the trigger pull as it eliminates the "side-to-side" movement of the hammer.
