I used to have a 21A. They also make a version with a decent blue job and walnut grips, or at least used to. I shot mine quite a bit, but it wasn't all that reliable. I was told that most people had good luck with Stingers or other hot ammo in their 21As, but mine actually worked best with cheap bulk pack standard veloctity ammo.
Still, there's something fun about those little Berettas. I've got a 950 with the optional long barrel in .22 short sitting at my transfer FFL that I need to pick up. If it is legal in your state, the little Berettas are a popular gun to fit with a compact factory suppressor. That's what I plan to do with mine eventually.
