-Now THAT is what I call green!! Looks good so far. Are you painting over the front sight? Are you leaving it like that, or are you going to repaint it black? Inquiring minds need to know. Waiting for more updates...

Matt

My says if she ever got a pistol, it would have to be teal. Let me know when you've set up shop.

Really cool look there. How long do you figure that will hold up?

not sure yet, i have some touchups to do, as well as some white to put around the grip outline, the green kinda ran into it

Great job, even though that kind of green is not my favorite color but it looks awesome. How difficult was the disassembly/assembly of the mag release? Would be great if you could post a little How-To on that. ;) :D

steel,

there is a little spring if you look down the mag well. you just move it over and pop it out. once thats done it slides right out. if needed i can make a how to video. but its REALLY simple. the spring part you need to disconnect is a long little metal rod kinda. its hard to explain but take a look

No problem. I was actually expecting a hard disassembly but like everything else on the sd its simple

I LIKE the white outline. Really cleaned up the grip. Well done.

i like the desert tan coloring. i may do my AR or one of my other rifles that color. was debating on a OD green/FDE color build sometime in the future

since michigan passed the SBR/SBS laws i can build a .300 blackout AR with a 9 inch barrel :) thats in the plans for a build soon!

Beautiful, you should open up shop. Would love one of those in black and purple. Or maybe black and red. With that white outline of course.

i am debating starting a weekend project where i do that service. my buddy's wife wants one in pink and teal. im going to show him how to do it so he can do it to his firearms as well. if i do start accepting clients ill make sure to post on here. however i wouldnt want someone shipping me their full firearm. id prefer nessesary componants be disassembled. like the sear, pins, and just have the parts sent they want painted. makes shipping easier if its just parts and not a full working firearm. plus chances are it will need to be over night shipped. not cheap lol

not yet with normal hoster wear. use both my AG iwb and my galco miami classic shoulder rig. not brave enough to try the serpa yet :-/ i know for a fact it makes contact with the muzzle and its hard plastic not leather or duracoated kydex

AFAIK the frame still needs to be shipped FFL to FFL because it got the serial number and is considered the firearm, functional or not.
