I just go this puppy and I violated one of my cardinal rules and tried carrying it when I only had 70 rounds thru it. I used IWB Galco under wrap. Wow does that extended beaver tail attack my luv handles. I have a Bianchi 3S from the 80's to try it in still. But sometimes ZI just get tired of cinching up that 5.11 belt one more hole to keep from steping on my jeans,Stumpy little 29 1/2 " inseam ya know. I just got tired of carrying that S&W 342 Ti pea shooter. I can only shoot 110 gr standard pressure loads in that 11oz gun and still I drop to my knees and weep like a baby. I need to think outside my 62 year old box here. What suggestions do you guys have in addition to "Cowboy Up"

I carry my C3 comfortably in a Milt Sparks Versa Max II. Try Top Gun Supply, they stock Milt Sparks for 1911's and do have them in stock from time to time. It beats the 6 month wait of ordering directly from Sparks.

Keep checking back, they sell out almost as soon as they come in. Also check with Lightning Arms Sports, they also periodically stock Milt Sparks holsters for 1911's. I'd probably avoid Kydex. Sig "restyled" the slide to make it look more like a 220 than a 1911. As a result sometimes holster fit can be an issue.

Now you've got me totally confused. At first I had just seen the C3 designation and not the 220. As far as I know the C3 designation applies only to one of their 1911 models:

It is an alloy framed 1911 with a "commander" length slide and the shorter "officer's" grip. This is the pistol that I have that I was giving advice on holsters for.

The 220 is an entirely different platform and they have the standard:

carry, which is the same gripframe as the standard but with a shorter slide and barrel:

and compact which is the short slide and short grip frame:

No. There is a Sig P220C3. I believe the C3 designation just means a 6 round magazine frame. An Yes I wish I had known that the C3 was also available in a 1911 as the trigger reach is far shorter than my P220C3. However I just put the Sig Short reach trigger on my gun and I may now have a chance to control the DA offhand pull. I wanted to avoid the extra burden of remembering (my opinion only) to disengage the safety during high stress. As once back in the 80's I actually pulled this bonehead mistake and it is still quite vivid in my mind.

P.S.
the 1911C3 reach is much shorter at least on the old GSR model than My P220C3 even with the short reach trigger.
