I put this simple little kit in my pre-Lock 342 AirLite Ti .38 +P yesterday. I can heartily recommend it as a well-spent $25. It's a drop-in (really!) kit that goes in super easy following their clear and simple video, and everything fit perfectly. Along with a little polishing with a few drops of oil on some 1200 and 2500 grit paper, this kit made a previously stiff and sorta "stacky" 12-lb plus trigger pull into a butter-smooth 8.5 lb, which I like for a DA-only carry/backup gun. I took it to the range today, shot some white box FMJ (full bore but not +P). Dang. It's been a while since I shot this little pistol, and I got reminded (again) why I don't enjoy shooting an 11 oz .38 Special. It's very accurate for a snubby, especially with the much improved pull, but after the first 15 or 20 rounds it's just not much fun without gloves on. Or maybe my 71 year old wrists ain't what they used to be. However, I bought this gun new years ago and it's such a wonderfully light and slick little pocket gun I'm still reluctant to get rid of it--even though I carry a Shield 9mm now, simply because it's so accurate and so much softer to shoot that I enjoy practicing with it.
This is the third Apex duty/carry kit I've installed (the others were M&P Shield and Full Size M&P 9 kits), and all three installed easily and performed exactly as expected. These Apex folks are the real deal. Don't mean to shill for them, I just like to hand out a pat on the back when people put out quality stuff that works exactly as promised, because these days it ain't always like that, lol.
