I have been carrying my Model 60 in a Mika holster in my right front pocket of my jeans. I mentioned to my wife I had been primarily pocket carrying rather than carrying my normal Glock 26 or 19. The only comment she made was "yeah it looks like you are carrying a tennis ball in your pocket" not very confidence inspiring.

Have you seen the size of some of these cell phones? You're all good as long as the pockets are deep enough and the butt of the gun isn't poking out the top.

She may have been kidding you. I have been around a number of police officers for years, and they've never said anything.
I've been a number of places with on and off duty police officers. Some of them knew me and others didn't. Not once did anyone mention that it appeared that I was carrying. 642 in a Mika holster, works well for me.
