The J frame trifecta of snubbies is done for me. 36, 49 and 60, all no-dash versions.
The 49 and also the 60 are my dog walking guns so. Their grips were very good but just not comfortable to shoot.
Since the grips on the 36 are quite worn but numbered for the gun I'm thinking about retiring them and get also new ones. Maybe white ones would look good with the T grip adapter. What you think?

To each his own, but I like ivory on blue:

Silverblack from Altamont, on the left, looks good on a black/blue gun.
Blue Lava from Hogue, on the right, is also quite snazzy.
If your not in a hurry you could consider extended boots from
Craig Spegel, shown 3rd from left.
Or maybe some elk horns from Grasshorn. 4th from left.

Terrific trio.

Here's a second for Craig Spegel's work (I-frame Model 31, but they'll fit your Chiefs Special.

Might look for some Herrett's Shooting Stars, too.

No Airweights for you, eh? Models 37 and 38 would round out your hammered J-frames, then you could think about the Centennials, Models 40 and 42.

I try to stay with the original grip form factor so that I can use the T grip on it. My other two snubs have nice grips I snatched from the Bay and are more of a carry gun, so leaving the 36 close to stock is the goal.
Looking at some white stags with either checkering or texturing in black. Don't want to go smooth :-)

So far no Airweights but had an eye on a Terrier but price was just too high for what it was.
I know the addiction never ends

I like these Bigmtnman caribou grips on one of my so far unfired 36 ND's, shown here with a holster I was fortunate enough to win in a karma...:D...Ben

I think the grips on the nickel'd gun has grips with black inlays. You have a picture of that? Not sure about smooth/slick grips. II'm afraid they become like soap in my hands :-)

Do you carry a J frame, if so have you ever thought about a grip that will secure it in your waistband? Barami used to make one, but Desantis now makes the "Clip Grip". I recently put one on my Mod 38 and I love it. It fills the gap behind the triggerguard, so no need for the T-Grip anymore. I then wrapped mine in a product by Brooks Tactical called Agrip. It is a suede like material and something I use on most of my carry guns. I really can't speak highly enough about it in terms of grippyness and comfort against one's skin. IMHO it is the best product out there that hardly anyone uses (poor marketing?). I buy the full 5x8 sheets and cut it to fit after making a paper pattern. I can easily wrap two handguns with one sheet.

That 19-3 was acquired from a member here...The grips are more Bigmtnman porn, moose antler this time...I've found no slippery feel to any of Ken's grips, even when I accidentally drool on them......Ben

I have a pocket holster that is doing a good job for what I need it and a cross draw OWB. I have experimented with a clip draw but don't like the idea of a wheel gun on skin, hence don't carry IWB at all.
