Jack, Jim, or Evan

Ahem. Having grown up in the Bourbon capital of the world, I feel that I have some small expertise in this area. All the choices are good ones (albeit Jack is whiskey, not bourbon), but let us not forget to respect our elders. Right, Grandad?

It's nice to know we have a mutual friend.

I don't really care for their family-am more attuned to their relatives from the Highlands-but when the occasion arises, I got to admit that Evan is pretty good and for my money a better companion than Jack-but I got to tell you I also like George as well

It was ancient and ages ago, early times in the morning, we would go up to heaven hill to see the fighting cocks. Old Taylor, TW Samuels and a very old man named Barton who always set the Benchmark.

George was the wildest one in the Dickel family

Aye, Ya know I've met George, and he's a straight up fella, but when I introduced Evan to Mr. Gallo ( he's sweet..) we just clicked. Ahh, good friends...

To mix, I prefer an elderly crow. For longer visits, Jack!

That old crow is best visited straight on. It's best visited by those with a strong will. At first, the crow's bite will be dire, since it tastes of rusty razors and barbed wire. Once you become a grizzled soul, it can be quaffed like mother's milk.

But the best bird to visit remains our old friend the fighting cock. Sure, he'll tear your innards to shreds, but that's his charm.

Overholt may be old, but he's smooth.
That furriner Metaxa may be different, but now you know what Greek Fire really is.

Old overcoat. Metaxa attacks ya!

All this talk about old friends. I may have to go let George out of the cabinet.

Then again, there's a family of 12 from Shiner, TX in the fridge....

The last time I talked to Jack, I woke up the next morning and found that I had come to know a rather large woman just a bit better than I would have liked.

I can't stand the smell of that guy anymore.

One night Jim beat me up and left me on someone's porch.

I've grown to like the company of Jack a lot more these days, though if you want a really nice drink of whiskey, nothing seems to beat Knob Creek or Woodford Reserve.
