I'd imagine a few had trouble with the idea of ultimately putting a needle in her arm. That and the M1 verdicts seems to mean overtime going into subsequent phases
I don't know what anyone saw in that broad.
It pretty much was a slam dunk:
5 voted premeditation
7 voted premeditation plus felony murder.
Unanimous verdict of First Degree Murder.
They start the DP deliberations tomorrow with the same 12 jurors.

I doubt the death penalty will go through. But with her looks she's gonna be very popular with the inmates for years to come.

Looks like they got one right. After OJ, the Anthony girl and others, it's good to see a jury use their head for something other than a hat rack.

She's giving an exclusive interview with Fox news tonight 10/9c, I can't believe that. She was talking for month, now what else does she has to say? Just wait, until she's getting finally put away she's writing a book, you'll see. The title? "My innocent years!"

If the jury had just listened to the Maricopa County Medical Examiner, they would have realized that the decedent could not have continued to assault her after receiving that .25 cal GSW to the head!

After the last report I heard, I kind of figured she'd go down for the crime. There were just too many conflicting facts and too much weird behavior. I wonder how long she'll stay on death row if they give her the death penalty.

IMO, I think the DP is very much on the table:
- She lied to investigators
- She lied on the stand: the verdict speaks to that better than I ever could
- Aggravation (the immediate phase after the verdict) is target-rich: stabbed him, slit his throat, shot him in the head - 3 out of 3: out the door, we're done!
- Next phase is... I forget the name but basically it's any attributes that would mitigate the DP. Unfortunately for miss-couldn't-keep-her-mouth-shut, the defense already testified against the bi-polar defense, about the only thing that could have explained her behavior and bought her some sympathy, i.e. "she snapped". OOPS!
- Let's not forget that her family already flew home, the only ones they could possibly find to profess her mitigation to the DP.
- Her "mitigation" expert (the buxon brown haired lady that was always behind the defense lawyers) was very much disrespectful and - just like JA - very snarky to the jury, little chance they'll listen to her - another OOPS!
Bottom line: This *** is probably going to be the next AZ woman death penalty case.
Good riddance!!!!!
