"John Wick" semi-autos

He is a stand up guy. He donates money to charities (PETA, Sick Kids, Cancer), a bunch of his salary from some of his movies; research how much he passed out after the Matrix' success worldwide, and has said to have set up a private cancer foundation. More in PlasticWood should follow his lead.
He has also taken pay cuts so that better actors can be in his movies. He took a pay cut so that Gene Hackman can be in his football movie and another so that Al Pacino can be in Devil's Advocate

Caught a program on TV here recently where he was
interviewed in his garage, "or one of them".
He's a big Motorcycle guy and they showed
quite an extensive collection. The big Fast bikes.
Always liked his stuff starting about his Point Break days.

The folks at S&W public relations should have a conversation with him. I think about a marketing campaign with him at the helm. Think about it...clean cut guy, upright, does the right thing. A gentleman's Harry Callahan. Men would emulate; a common guy for the massses. Female enthusiasts would buy products in buckets.

Looks like it is on HBO and related channels this weekend.

I don't think that would work. He's not a gun guy. I've read an interview he had with a German magazine about the time Street Kings came out. Granted the article was translated from German but he gave the impression that he's just not into guns. Not to be confused with anti gun, just someone who has no interest in firearms.

Besides I think he does the smart thing by staying out of the media and political topics. He's an actor....that's what he should be doing

Guess I'll give it another look. After watching acting ability on par with a walking stick, dialog such as "He is the one you call when you need the boogeyman killed", a dozen or so killed at his house and maybe twice as many at a club I fell asleep.

I won't watch it due to the premise of the movie...
knowing how far down that trail I'd go
given the same set of circumstances...

My Grandfather got mugged by a fired worker of a local military base,
back in the late 80's, the bad guy almost killed him...
once we figured out who/what/etc, was on my way...
only thing that saved the scumbag from a meeting with St. Peter
was the cops who arrived to get him while I was parking my car 1/2 a block down.
Cops get bad guy, somewhat-torqued good guy doesn't commit a bad act...
which is a lot better than slow cops catch guy whooping up on
the bad guy who mugged his grandfather...;)

I watched it and was left with the impression of a graphic novel, rather than something more literal. Perhaps that's why some of the more comic dialog and exaggerated situations didn't personally ruin the experience.

I think the source material is from a graphic novel. Great film? Nope. Entertaining? Sure. At least for a Winter's night sitting on the couch with an adult beverage.

The wife & I watched "John Wick" some time back. I didn't expect too much, but it was a VERY entertaining surrealistic action movie with some outstanding stunt/firearms work. Keanu did a great job! We both really enjoyed it.
