I have been cruising this forum for about 2 weeks now and finally decided to join. I got my Sigma for Christmas because my father told me he wanted to get me something I would like and could use (he is awesome). When I got it is was the combo deal from Gander Mtn. that came with the LaserLyte V-2 and the rail adapter. I have never really cared for lasers on guns so I sold both online. Lots of great info on here, should be a good time.

Here it was the day I got it.

Welcome to the forum from Texas!

I love my sigma; it's the best money I ever spent.

It goes bang every time and hits what I'm aiming at!

Give us a range report when you can.

Lee

P.S. Awesome Dad!

Let us read from the book of Sigma: Though shall not spend excessive amount of money on a sidearm for which value is not represented. Though shall not be too weak of mind or hand and blameth the trigger. Though shall not cry about Sigma's of the past and rant about fictitious issues your neighbors, uncles, mailman had with his. Instead though shall shoot and enjoy their Sigma with pride and satisfaction. Here ends the reading.

Quigar57 thanks for posting a pic of the laserlyte on the sigma. I purchased mine there to, however I'am happy with the laser sight.

The sigmas are truly a great buy.

Welcome to the forum.

I took mine to the range again yesterday and it was flawless again. The first time I had some trouble shooting it with the heavy trigger, but this time, and a few hundred/a thousand dry fire cycles the trigger seemed much better. Maybe I just got used to it. Either way, I shot it much better this time.

Not bad at all for the money.

Yep, and the trigger will only get better.

I've always been pretty much a .38 Special revolver guy...
But I wanted a NATO round (9mm) as a second choice...
I read a lot of good and bad reports on the Sigma's...
Bad reports on older models...
Good reports on the later models...

So I went to the local Academy Sports...($324.74 OTD)...
After $50 rebate...($274.74 OTD)...

400 rounds later...No FTE... No FTF...
And it's as accurate as I am....
I would call the modern Sigma's a great value...
