Just bought an M&P 40 Shield

Just put 25 rounds of the 165 gr. American Eagle FMJ through today. Unfortunately the increase in recoil was significant. I will not be shooting this lighter round anymore.

I put two different personal defense rounds through it also, both were lighter in recoil....actually pleasant to shoot.

In fact, I will be looking for some "low recoil" (if such a round exists) ball ammo for target practice after today.

Yeah, I don't like anything under the standard 180 grainers. I read an article just recently, that the 165's and 155's are harder on a pistol than the original 180 grain rounds.
