Just picked this 4006 up with 2 mags. Looks to have had some holster time. Plan on replacing grips with new originals. Thing sure is built like a tank. Not sure if I got a good deal or not though. How much would you typically see these going for today?

They seem to run anywhere from $400.00 to $600.00, depending on condition, if it has box & docs, & how bad you want one. You got that right when you said it was built like a tank;nearly all of the 3rdGens are.

Yeah, that is about what I figured. I came out ok. I can't wait to shoot it. I'm a fan of solid, heavy guns.
Hey on another note, I've been here since 2011 and have less than 10 posts. How's that for "lurker"...geesh.

Hope you enjoy the pistol. As far as posting, I'm the opposite of you:I seem to post every five minutes...Or, I'm sure a lot of people think so!

From the looks of that one, I'd say $350 to $450.

Don't worry about how much you got in it.
Its what you get out of it that matters.

Enjoy the hobby.

Shot it today, roughly 2 boxes worth, flawless. Man, what a pistol! It was certainly a good find. Shot it side by side with my friends Glock 22. I hadn't shot a Glock in a while. I really don't like the dingus thingy. Shot both accurately. But, I felt that I could get back on target faster with the 4006.
