Hey all, I just picked up a model 910 with one mag for 219 otd. I have a few Smith steel autoloaders already ( 3906, 659, 4006 and 5946.), But dang this is a good feeling gun!
Amybody have any do's or don't's for me?
For a value line gun it seems well built.

I've got one , but it's BNIB so I haven't shot it . But you're right , it's a good feeling gun , and I've got small hands . You don't hear much about these , it's always about the m915 . Looks like you're new here , have to warn you , this is a bad place to hang out . It starts with a couple , then you start listening to these guys and soon you have 10 , then 20 and it keeps going . If you're married , hopefully she won't ban you and you'll keep coming back .

Wow, $219 OTD, what a deal!!!

I own two 910s. One is a safe queen and the other is a great source of fun at the range.

The first gun I bought off GB was a 910. I found that the previous owner had replaced the recoil spring assembly, so there was little to do but clean, inspect, and shoot the gun. It didn't disappoint for accuracy at 7 and 10 yards and rang the steels at 25. No problems with the gun after having it for two years. Enjoy!

I've had my 910 for 7 yers now, I inherited it from my dad. He bought it in 2007 or 2008, it was actually a 2003 model year. I don't shoot it much, and I don't think my dad put more than a few hundred rounds through it. I do like the gun, and have no desire to sell it.

For reasons I've explained before, I've got four Model 910S pistols in the armory right now... all of them "as-new-in-box" perfect. :) But while I am a stainless steel kind of guy, I wouldn't mind picking up a non-abused Model 910 too. :D The all-black 3rd Gens are kind of growing on me lately.

In that regard, I found a nice all-black Model 457 yesterday in my travels. Price tag was quite high, but it did come with multiple mags and its original factory box. Very tempting. :D

I gave my 910 an upgrade with the slide and barrel from a 915. Great old workhorse of a pistol.

I believe three is a much luckier number than four. If you need help reaching that luckier number, your pal Jeppo is at your service. ;)

I think I detect a Jeppo scheme here! :p

No, I'm good with four! :) As it turns out, four is my lucky number! ;)

The Model 910 is a nice gun that will serviceably do whatever you need a 9mm pistol for, unless you are TTSH, you will not likely retire on the appreciation, but will likely have fun shooting it.

I'll post some pics later today, but aside
From a little wear on the slidestop she's in great shape. I only wish it had the box...

The 910s are good basic guns and a good value. I use my 910S when I teach Basic Pistol as the next step up from a 22LR.
You got a good deal, enjoy it and be safe :)
