Just got a CORE 9mm and I love it

I have only been shooting pistol for over a year now. I bought a Glock 21 and Glock 35 and love those pistols.

But I have been hearing a lot of good things about the M&P. So I put my AR up for sale or trade and a guy offered me he M&P9 CORE with Jpoint MRDS.

Here I tested it for the first time.

I'm trying to decide what red dot to get, I really like to get an RMR but at $600.00 I don't know. How do you like the Jpoint and what size dor are you using?.

The pistol came with the 8moa Jpoint. I like it for now. But I am getting a starburst effect in the dot. I probably have some form of astigmatism. I will eventually get the dual illuminated trijicon for the clean look of the reticle.

Unfortunately, if you have any form of astigmatism (like I do), any RDS you use will be fuzzy. The RDS is still a great option for fast reaction shooting, you just lose some precision.
