I am new to the site but have looked over the post for a few days now. I just got my A1 style with flash hider sunday. DWC serial #. I've been wanting one for a long time I got a spare clip and CCi tactical 22 ammo. had a few FTF in the first 3 to 4 clips but then it went through the rest of the box with out a single other problem. I purchased this gun for hunting, and post 2013.

I am needing a good scope that can snipe out squirels and raccoons at about 100yds. any Ideas? and rings? Then I was wanting to put a red dot on one side and a laser light on the other side. Any cheap ideas for those. ?

Welcome. Those are mags, not clips. ;) did you clean the rifle before you shot it? Was the mag loaded properly and seated tightly into the receiver? I have no recommendations for a scope but a red dot ahould work of you have good eyes, and since you have 25 rounds on tap, I'd say mag dump on them varmits. Standard velocity CCI will have better accuracy if you are hunting.

the firing pin never even touched the bullets. so i loaded them back up and shot them. I think it is fine, after a few mags, it was all good. I didnt he the cci tactical was very accurate but at 50yrds standing with iron sights i figured it wasnt to bad. the red dot and laser is for zombie killin. looking for a 3-9 or 4-12 power scope. made for 22 and not big rifles

any issues with serials DWC?

I wish they had a 100 round mag. I would buy 5 of them.

There are a LOT of optics out there. Depends on what you really want out of it. As far as putting a red dot AND a laser I would say use one or the other since they are both for close quarter combat/hunting and you could save a little money by only using one. If you're looking for a good red dot sight check I bought the NC Star mini reflex with the variable brightness. It has a 2 mil dot "smaller then most" and it's been a great and inexpensive addition. It's accurate, easy to sight in and stays zeroed. If you're looking for a good laser UTG makes some nice green combat lasers that are amazingly bright.

your probably right, dont need both. just thought it would look cool. laser would probably work best for night time raccoon hunting, easier to put light on running target.

scope budget probably $150. because I got to get a new shotgun scope also. which shotgun is more important for deer.

which is better green or red? looks like red is cheaper. does that mean they are not as bright, or shine as far?

also it seems as some laser are adjustable. and some are not. Am I wrong?
seems to me that you need to adjust it to be able to sight it in to your firearm

BSA sweet 22 22-39X40AO with bullet trajectory compensation for .22 bullets...I have a few of them ,hard to beat for the price...

No need for a laser really. I have a primary arms reflex sight (green dot) on my 22 pistol, no extra lights to scare critters away or give your location.

I got a Nikon 3x9 scope for xmas. I also have a Primary Arms M4 red dot. Most of my shooting is at a indoor range (25yds) and I prefer the red dot in that situation. I did not get the rim fire version of the Nikon 3x9 because I know that there is a Remington 700 in my future. The Nikon is bright and was easy to zero. The Nikon scope was $159 at Optics Planet.

You can easily find a high quality red dot optic from Primary Arms for under $150...I have their Micro Dot Gen 7 on my 15-22 and their M-4 Multi-reticle on my AR-15 Piston...love both. :)

most red dots I have used have too large a dot for treerats @ 100 yds. i might suggest a Unertel M-4 scope. They have VERY fine crosshairs and will allow you to see a small target at your specified range of 100 yds.

watch Ebay and the other auction sites for same...just sayin'
