Just how quite?????

I don't know anything about all that fancy db math, but what I do know is the bolt slapping back an forth on my 1522 is all I hear. Once you get to the point where the rifle mechanics are louder than muzzle report, what difference does it make?

Went out with the wife and shot the new 300 bo pistol with liberty 300 bo dedicated can. Her first words were this is loud. 2 days ago she took it and left a friend shoot it on same range, but it was overcast/ foggy/occasional rain. She came back and said , wow it is really quiet. Same gun/ammo/range only the weather changed so you perceive a different sound. As for factory measurements some are done to the left of muzzle, while others do that along with at the shooters ear and average. As said above you are not going to be able to say: that was 105, 107,103, but using a 30 cal can on 223 will give a different tone than a 223 can. Better/worse???? All I can say is different and if I do not have to wear plugs/headset I am a happy camper. Be Safe,

I shot standard CCI out of my 77/22 thru my Bedroom window with my Octane 9. My 22 can is still in stamp purgatory. My daughter was down the hall and she didn't hear a thing. Nor did my too close neighbors.

Use Colibris in a lever action or a bolt gun and its as good as a suppressor. Just very week.

little_airwolf - check out the video below for comparison of supersonic bulk ammo and CCI standard on a 16" barrel.

he starts shooting at 3:10 mins.
Just don't be an idiot and use a crush washer with a silencer like he demonstrated on the table (not sure if he actually shot it that way or not).

Thanks guys. Im getting a 10" barrel for our gun. Ill post a vid when I get everything and show my results.

Integral? (it's quiet even with high velocity ammo)

SBR? (ie, able to remove the suppressor for cleaning - pretty much necessary for a 22)

Wow tried a maglite conversion.
You guys werent lying when you said an air rifle was louder.
Im happy to let everyone know. Dynapoint was as loud as Rem subsonic.
Sub cost $48 a brick.
Dynapoint is $28-32 a brick. Got 12k rounds of Dynapoint a few weeks ago.

Still waiting for it. It's been two months!
