So...I have a 1st Model Lemon Squeezer, nickel plated, that my dad gave me several years ago. Although the gun is in great condition it also has an interesting history.
My dad worked for a small-town bank until the early 90's. Well, back in the day, they gave officers of the bank firearms for protection. The one they gave him you ask?...yep...the 32 Safety Hammerless that he gave me.
When he retired from the bank he bought the gun from them. Just the other day he sent me the old copy of his concealed weapons permit (which I didn't even know he had when I was growing up) along with the original permit to purchase. It's really weird to look at the permit to purchase and see the banks name as the "seller". How funny is that...buying a gun from a bank.
Times sure have changed.
Just thought I'd share.
