Bought it off of Gunbroker a few weeks ago and finally had a chance to pick it up today:
Will get better pics tomorrow when the sun is up, as this one does not do it justice (especially the color case hardening on the hammer). Bluing is about 98% and it looks to have been shot very little. Grips are numbered to the gun. Made in 1952 by the s/n.
I thought I had overpaid by a couple hundred dollars when I bought it. Judging by how well it's made, I underpaid by at least $1000.
The oldest S&W's I have besides this are from the 1980's, and this honestly makes them look like cheap knockoffs of the real thing
