I just got a hold of a K 22, a revolver that I have wanted for a great many years. Can anyone tell me how old it is? It is marked on the butt K 46668 and on the inside of the grips. It's a six inch barrel, and has about 80 % blue with just a few freckles of rust starting. It has never been apart until I cleaned it last night. It has a small part in the frame behind the trigger that apears to limit the overtravel of the trigger. Can't wait to give the old girl a try. Many thanks, the toolman.

I got to shoot the K 22 yesterday at the range. It shot better than the rifle I was trying to sight in. I was able to hit small rocks about the size of your thumb at 25 to 50 yards, knocking them down the range. Shot like a lazer! Thanks for the information. the toolman.

That is what it looks like, a trigger over travel stop. There was a lot of controversy over that device. I have heard a lot of PD's had them removed for fear of them coming loose and preventing the gun from firing. On my guns, so equipped, I adjust it all the way forward, and so far they all work perfectly (minimal over travel) with 0 failures to fire. The K22 is a great revolver.
