Just looked at this thread for the first thing, and the first thing I noticed was that the SAT didn’t look correct. I thought to myself that it looked like the prewar version, and thought there’s no way that could end up in this revolver package……or COULD there? That’s much better than finding a four leaf clover! Congratulations.Very nice 38 Combat Masterpiece. CONGRATS!!! That well-used SAT is the rare and expensive PRE-WAR SAT. The proper SAT for your gun is most likely the black knurled post war SAT.
