K frame Millet Sight

I have a model 19-3 with a 6" barrel circa 1976.I have a spare Millet rear sight that was on a 4" M19. I know they have different blade heights manufactured for a 4" and a 6"barrel. Would this difference in rear blade heights be that critical if this spare Millet sight fits the 6" M19? Thanks
