Smith & Wesson K-frame Model 12 w/2 inch barrel, in a Galco OWB leather holster. This holster is exceptionally secure, well made, and comfortable. BUT............

Galco appears to make these holsters to fit guns with a 2 and one-half or 3 inch barrels!

Until I get a custom holster for IWB carry, I use an Uncle Mikes IWB holster when wearing the Model 12.

My picture taking skills don't do these pictures any justice, but Mr. Ray Cory did an excellent job with both holsters. Here's what I have:

Smith & Wesson 65-5 Ladysmith

Offset Belt Clip IWB from Lobo Gunleather

IWB-Belt Loop model from Lobo Gunleather

There are some very nice options available and we have some of the best right here on the Forum. When I decided to carry a revolver, it was Mitch Rosen who got the nod. ARG (IWB) and the 5JR (OWB) with Mitch's Tapered (at the Front) 1.5" Matching Belt in Dark Brown. Zebulon

I went with a Don Hume JIT, a tunnel loop OWB design, for my Model 15 snubbie. I don't think I will ever rely on this revolver for concealed carry, but I wanted a decent holster for the woods and the range. I am really happy with the Hume holster so far. It is nicely finished and I love the reddish color. It fits fairly close to the body and holds the handgun securely enough for what I intend to use it for.

And the best part was it cost $18 new on ebay.
