I purchased another Model 15-4. SN dates to 1980. The revolver looks almost unfired. And the price was good. But this pistol has a trigger block of some kind under the trigger. I have never seen this before on my other pistols. Internet tells me it is a trigger stop, probably after market, and needs to be fit. I don’t think it’s a bad thing but want to make sure it does not damage the engagement hooks. Any advice is appreciated. Photo below. I have not removed the plate (yet). Pistol was purchased because it is a gem, but only for shooting paper targets and beer cans.
