That's good to hear, a large part of the value is having the original box. Good pictures would help also, the wear of the blue does take away from the value but the pictures might be making it look worse then it is. At any rate it sounds like you came out way ahead no matter how you go.
 
longarm you are right but i'm sixty one yrs old what good is it going to be sitting in my safe when it can be enjoyed by someone. i have more guns now then i will ever use and i'm a very active hunter not a collector.
