I was a t a local gun show this weekend and stopped and talked to a guy. Lots of nice local dealers here. I noticed he had a K22 Outdoorsman in his stuff. I looked it over. Hardly a turn line. Little if any use showing on the ejector rod. The grips are in very good condition. The negative is it looks like something that takes bluing off was splashed on it. The metal looks fine, just the bluing gone in spots. The price was doable and I had the money so I bought it. I have been looking for one for the last 25 or so years. In the past either the price was very high or I didn't have the money. Mostly I didn't have the money. I got a box with it also.
This is one of my bucket list guns. Best of all it is a very nice shooter grade and I can enjoy shooting it.
I took several pics and these are the best I could get. I tried to show the missing bluing the best I could.

Great find! Does it have a single rear sight screw or double? It'll tell you along with the serial if it's an earlier or later 1930s production. Either way great gun and the smoothest DA pull on any 22 revolver with that long action hammer.

Not the one from Whitehall from what I do know about it. But you never know these days.

Not The box but a correct box.

It is the two screw sight.

I think the two screw on rear sight top strap puts it in mid to late 1930s.

I neglected to say it is a 1935 production the guy had written down on the info on his display card.
I also made a correction in my original post. I have been looking for one for the last 25 years, not 35 years.
