A funny thing happend Monday morning. I was mowing the lawn and
ran completely out of wind. I rested a few minutes then finished the
lawn. Then I went inside and sat down in my recliner, and gave it about
10 minutes. It didn't get better. I hooked up my home monitor and my
pulse was 185 in fibrilation, so we called 911.

The fire department is just across the street so they were here in no time.
Had a nice bus ride to the ER. Met a nice cardiologist and an
electrophysiologist. Got an angiogram. Damage from on old heart attack
was preventing my heart from squeezing like it should.

Yesterday they gave me an implantable cardiac defibrilator. I feel like
the bionic man. Feel much better today.

I drew a number from the K frame jar. Number 28 bronco45 is winner.
I drew a number from the J frame jar. Number 21 Muss Muggins is the
winner. If you will both send me a PM with your mailing address I will
get your prizes right out to you.

It's a great little gadget. I feel better already. Just a week ago today.
Thanks for all the well wishes. Before I was always in a little fibrilation.
Pulse was running 46 to 50.
Now, with defib/pacemaker, I'm a steady 72 and no fib.

If I could Karma you I brand new heart, I would, but it looks like you have the next best thing.

Thanks Jessie. My new gadget has all of my vitals looking good
and I start rehab next week. A heart attack is kinda like landing
an airplane. If you can walk away from it, it's a good one.
