Gentlemen...Gentlemen.... Be patience... S&W owes you the rebate and you will get it.. If anyone is so upset about their rebate check, I will gladly give you what you paid for your Shield...

I'm thankful I got mine. At .045 cents postage it went on the slow truck. Plus, my mail carrier, I think, is dyslexic. But, it finally arrived.

You guys would have a rough time in the NFA world where a typical transfer takes ten months to process. I once had a STen tube take six years to transfer,....but that was largely due to a shifty dealer. One that I know was entirely a paperwork delay was a gun coming back to me from a gunsmith buddy on a form5. That one took two full years just to get approval to send my own gun back.

Or you could have gotten in on the ground floor of the Shrike beltfed AR upper. That one was somewhere around 8-10yrs from deposit to delivery,......and then it sat for six years in the box before I got around to opening it. Some of you guys have no patience.

S&W needs to terminate that "promotions'/rebate company" of theirs ...

I received a "personal" email from the president of S&W Firearms about 2 weeks ago apologizing to recipients for "unacceptable delays" with rebates, blah, blah, blah and PROMISING rebates by July 7th for those submitted in April (my Bodyguard rebate submission was).

NADA. Nothing. Zero. Zilch.

The Bodyguard is still in hiding from the wife, and I'm still on mailbox sentry duty for the rebate check before she asks "why"!

"Where's the Beef ('rebate')?" Mr. CEO?

Because I have plenty of time on my hands, I've been concerned that my first check was lost. Their site shows it "shipped" on 6/29 and still nothing. So, I broke down and called Milano. Seems the "shipped" date is actually the date the check was printed (supposedly). The kind woman explained they had about 25,000 checks to go out and they are stuffed and stamped by hand. She said a bunch go out each day and not to worry for another couple weeks.

I'm guessing it was Milano that wasn't prepared for the volume of the claims, not S&W.

25,000 checks processed by hand? In 2017?

I paid $320 for a 9mm WTS. Still new in the box.

I submitted my rebate online April 10th, just arrived today, July 25th!!! Nice work S&W! Actually, I bought a Shield 9MM for just at $300, with the rebate, so I'm still a happy camper as I love shooting my shield. I just hope S&W learned their lesson and that I get my rebate package for buying a M&P 2/0 doesn't take forever to arrive.
