I am reminded of a certain GM executive, who when he passed on had the largest funeral ever seen in Detroit, despite that fact that even his dog didn't like him.

What he did, as I recall from a Bill Safire column of the time, was show up in his living room at 0300 in a T-shirt and nothing else.
Safire's comment was that if that was all he did, and that seemed to be all that he was accused of, it is certainly no crime for a man to wander about without underwear in his own house at 0300.
