Whatever happened to the old vacuum coffee pots? My parents had one when I was a kid and they were great fun to watch them do their thing. I have seen them in both glass and stainless steel, but not for many years. I'm not a coffee drinker, but if I were, I'd look for one.
There are lots of them on Amazon. This one looks like fun if you were making coffee at the table for a few friends. I sure wouldn't use it on a daily basis though.
