My son bought us a Keurig coffee maker. I had never been interested in them before but, now that we have this, I'm kind of enjoying it.
So far, we've found Green Mountain Nantucket Blend, and Folger's Black Silk that we like alot. We also got apple cider pods. Hot apple cider anytime you're in the mood.
Any good suggestions, what's everyone's favorite?

To make drinkable coffee, I use the pod twice, first @ 8 cups, 2nd time @ 4 cups for a 12 ounce cup of coffee.

This. We make a regular pot every morning but then on weekends I need a cup in the afternoon and for that, the Keurig is perfect.

And I use a number of different "bold" blends and have not settled on any one.

Buy some of the plastic reusable pods and use whatever brand coffee you like, adjust strength by how much you put in pod. I bought a batch of 10 and keep some by the machine. You can put hot chocolate, tea, bullion for broth or the like in them. Did I mention we like ours. Never stale coffee.

I like Seattle's Best breakfast blend and late afternoon or early evening I'll have Green Mountain half-caff

Our Keurig gets a workout. We use the Bunn in the morning, the K the rest of the day. Mrs buys whatever pods are on sale, currently it's McDonald's McCafe. Tried Black Rifle, Fire Department, and Community Coffee. They're all good, but IMHO, not good enough to justify the extra cost. YMMV.

Keurig is the ultimate wasteful extravagance and I would never have one.

Until I did

I'm the only coffee drinker in the house and I'd make a pot of coffee in the morning-drink one cup and then rehrat it the next morning until the carafe was empty-Now that I've gotten older and it is just me and the wife, I loves me some Keurig :D

Only times I've used them is in Motels.
The result was not very good coffee.
But they are probably buying such low grade coffee that Hobos wouldn't drink it!

For years I have been using a restaurant-style stainless steel vacuum bottle/carafe, brew a pot of coffee and put it into the carafe. Coffee stayed hot and fresh for hours, no more stale sludge.

We received a very basic Keurig model as a gift about 3 years ago. We loved it! Every cup brewed fresh, and we can both choose our preferences. I like good robust Colombian or French Roast, my wife likes flavored coffees like hazelnut or French vanilla.

The "gimme" pot died and I immediately went shopping for a replacement, bought an upgraded model which we have been using with complete satisfaction for a couple of years.

I have to comment on the Keurig brand being made rather cheaply, mostly plastic castings. For the prices one would think they could provide a bit more substance. Oh well, seems to be the way of the world now.

My wife's tastes are best served by the more expensive varieties she gets from the more upscale sources. My preferences are very well served with Kroger's brand 100% Colombian or French Roast, brewed on the "strong" setting in our Keurig machine.

Have a Keurig at home and work. In addition to trying and liking most of different coffees, I like the Walmart "Great Value" chai tea latte. I still need to try the apple cider and hot chocolate.

After trying a large number of different brands of coffee pods I have made Peet's Major Dickason's Blend or Gevalia Dark Royal Roast my coffee of choice. Going with which one has the better price at the time.

I like the Starbucks Pike Place and Breakfast Blend.
In the morning, I usually have 2 breakfast blends in the morning, on the middle setting. Just to wake up.
