Had a chance to play with the 3" Kimber K6 DASA today.
I know there are a lot of detractors here but quite few folks have bought the K^ and am wondering what the owners think of them now that they have had them for a while.
I was impressed with the size and the trigger.
I do not find it attractive, but it is a carry gun so who cares?
I really liked the DA trigger. I do not stage my trigger on any of my revolvers but this gun seemed to automatically stage as if designed to do so.
Price is stiff, but it may be something I would be interested in.

Have one for about a year now, DA with a 3" barrel and service sights. It replaced the 640 and gained an extra shot. Would trade the 3" for a 2". It's brutal to shoot with .357's (so is the 640) so I bought Kimber control core rubber grips. Will reshoot it again some day. At 50' it shoots better then the 640 it replaced. I like it, paid a low price for it used. Larry

I haven't shot a revolver SA in years so the SA/DA version does not interest me. That said, my K6s replaced three of my S&W snubbies. I have a set of Kimber factory CT grips and replace them with Hogue G10's and prefer the shape of the Hogue's. The Kimber trigger is a winner and with the sixth shot, it is a no brainer if you like snubbies.

I've been researching the DAO model for a couple weeks. Unlike the OP, I think it looks pretty cool! I haven't handled one yet, but if I do, I'm sure it will come home with me.

As a K6S 2" variant owner, the advantage this gun offers is the sixth round & its size. It's superior to a j frame in every aspect except weight. This is not a wheel gun for pocket carry because of the weight. It is very well thought out & made.
