Far as I am concerned, the price Vs. what you get the Kimber is about 30% over-priced. I hear too many horror stories about malfunctions, and reliability. They have so many different models that "look good" but don't perform. I think they should hire a impartial quality assurance manager, and have him interface with the "Marketing" people and I'd bet they would reduce their offering to half the different models, and streamline their manufacturing and in the long run be able to keep up with demand for a quality product. I would be curious to know average daily output, compared to Ruger 1911's and S&W 1911's, and RIA 1911's, and Springfield 1911's.
