knife/buckle combos from 1983

I found two S&W knife/buckle combos new in the clamshell, with the cardboard outer from 1983. There are different engravings on each set, I can't remember what at the moment. They are stainless knife, and buckle I believe, and are serial numbered. Are these collectible, and any guess on price? I don't collect these, but they might be a decent knife.

The sets are very collectable, and it sound like you have the full package. Prices on Ebay range from $65 to $100+ each for these. Removing the knife for use, or the buckle, will destroy any collector value. You can buy a much better knife than these from the proceeds of a sale. Ed.
