Sweet little rifle with double set trigger. Every so often it has a light firing pin strike. I suspect it has old grease or crud in the bolt. Can I soak it in WD 40 or something else? I don't want to play Bubba and take it apart. Any advise from the experts? Thanks to all that may reply.

If you don't want to take it apart I would get a quart of acetone and submerge it and slosh around. Do outside and don't get it near stock. It evaporates fast. After a good sloshing a little lube, little.

There's all sorts of options out there, but lighter fluid is often recommended for degreasing trigger and bolts. Myself, I'd have to find the instructions for the bolt disassembly and tear it down for good cleaning and proper lube.

When I can I spray Break Cleaner or Electric Contact Cleaner in ever orfice I can. Do it outside (best over concrete or gravel), and wear safety glasses! Flood it until darker color stops coming out. Let set a few hours and oil with as fine of oil possible.
