First off, let me say that my only association with Stonewall is as a happy customer. I learned about them on the internet and wanted to pass along my good experiences. I've shot several thousand of their .38 158 grain SWC's and have been very satisfied with their quality and cost. But a couple of my fixed-sight Model 10's shoot slightly high @ 15 and 25 yards. Maybe I needed a lighter bullet? I contacted Robert to ask him about his .38 147 grain RNL bullets. I like RNL in the .38, they're traditional and I just shoot them at targets anyway. But 147 grains seemed pretty light to me and I was concerned. Robert sent me out a sample of his bullets, not just the 147 grain RNL, but also the 125 grain RNL. And he sent enough bullets for a REAL test, not the six bullets I got from another major caster. Anyway, I went to the range today and they shot GREAT. The 147's (which are actually 150-151 grains and exactly .358) shot great - exactly where I wanted them to, about 1 inch lower than the 158's. Interestingly, the 125's (which also measure .358) shot about 3 inches lower than the 150's. This is too low for my fixed-sight Model 10's, but based on the 1 1/2 inch group I shot DA, standing @ 15 yards, they bear further testing in my Model 14 and 15.
Just wanted to let you know about my positive experiences. Robert doesn't have a website but can be found over at the Marlin Forum.

I used Robert's bullets for a long time before I started casting my own. Top notch for the price, which is very reasonable and very quick shipping. I would highly recommend him.

I just ordered some .360 diameter .38 S&W bullets from Robert, and opened the box to find a couple of small bonus boxes of some of his other bullets...very nice guy and great service.

Deleted because of a computer glitch, double post and first not finished..

Stonewalls 147gr lrn is the bullet of choice in 9mm and 38super for me..
Best lead bullet I have tried in the S&W MP,not a hot load,3.0gr bullseye.
Same bullet in 38super with 3.5-4.0gr bullseye, accurate and pleasant to shoot..
Hope this year is better than last year medically speaking, spent three months in and out of the hospital and all fall recuperating..Then there was that wonderfull winter season, the older I get the more I hate winter.
Don't know if I will be able to find primers and powder to give it h+++
this summer..Hope so..

I got my first order from him the other day. I ordered 2000 of the 38 spl. 158 gr SWC bullets along with 1500 of the 45 caliber 200 SWC bullets. This month, he mentioned, sending a free '30 cal ammo can with the purchse of certain bullets, limit of 2 per customer.....the 2 lots of bullets I ordered qualified so I got the bullets shipped in the cans. Bullets look good and delivery was quick. I loaded up some of the 45 bullets but have not shot them yet.....maybe this Thursday!!

Been using Robert's bullets for about a year now. Love to see the mailman carrying that box to my door all bent over. Just got a supply of 125 gr 9mm's and he included a goodly quantity of 147 gr for me to try. Back when I ordered the 158 RNL in .38's he sent me a sample of the SWC, and I had to order another 1000 of those. Great bullets at a great price.

I have been using Robert for a couple of years now. He gives great service with a good product. His pricing makes his bullets a good value. I highly recommend him.
