How many of you have a kydex holster for your revolver? What are your thoughts? Are you happy or dissatisfied with it?
Thanks in advance

I have a Fobus roto paddle for my 686/681 ( and 4 more for other handguns in my collection) . I only use it at the range but like it well enough for that purpose. Holds the gun solidly, at a good angle and releases with a simple tug. ( I don't like having to hit levers/thumbreaks for target stuff.)
THat said, these holsters have two flaws in my experience. First, the paddle style Kydex (all brands I have tried) seem to keep the butt of the gun a bit away from the body. Nice for drawing at the range but not the best for CCW. Second, they can be tough on a guns finish since most are unlined and rely on contact on certain points/edges of the gun for retention. Not a big issue with SS but they can wear a blued gun faster than many lined leather holsters. I believe Safari land and maybe others have come up with a lined kydex/polimer holster but I have no experience yet.

I have a Comp-Tac.

If you want a fast draw it's the only way to go.

Mine is a hybrid, a Safariland 568. It's a Kydex paddle with suede lining and leather panels. I really like it, it is very comfortable, easy on, easy off, and it holds my custom 586 securely.

same gun just different grips, i was searching for the best fit and finally settled on a set of modified Targets

Blade TEch

I have a IWB blade tech for a M-65 that I carry daily.....not sure if they make them for the L's.....but I have several of the IWB blade techs and they work very well....If I am carrying OWb I go with the GAlco combat master.
