I never seem to read about any one getting new M/P now a days is anyone get them or is it all Glock and Sig 320 ?????????

The last two HPD officers I talked with carried Glocks, last time seen M&P maybe 2016.

Two departments I know of are issuing M&P40 2.0, and one other department is still issuing the 1.0 (guess they still have extra?).

California Highway Patrol (M&P .40), LA County Sheriff’s Department (M&P9 M2.0), and LA Police Department (not sure if original 9mm or 2.0 at this point) all issue versions of the M&P.

That also includes agencies such as CA Parole, LA County Probation, and probably some other smaller state agencies (some CA state agencies issue Glock .40 pistols).

Here in Australia, we only have State Police and Federal Police. I know that currently the .40 S&W M&P's are on issue to Victoria (VicPol) and South Australia (SAPol).

Here is the Currently ones State level I know I’m a Highway Patrols,State Police,State Patrol and Trooper Fanatic I don’t follow the City Kitty’s much do follow a few of the County Mounties though.

Tx DPS tested the M&P and found some issues with it and remained with the Sig. I don't know what the exact issues were, however it was enough to stay with the Sig.

I have spoken directly to members of the TX DPS firearms cadre and the “issues” with the S&W were that it wasn’t a Sig and the malfunctions were ammunition related. I was told when they went back to the Sig the problems remained but rather than go back they changed Ammo and all was good. It was (from what I was told) never a problem with the S&W.

I’m personally aware of problems with that particular ammunition as my department had a significant amount of it with lots of out-of-spec rounds (case length too long).

Got issued M&P .45 2.0 last year. Previously had M&P .45 first gen. Nice guns. 2.0 has better trigger in my opinion.
