Gentlemen,
I am looking for large cotten cleaning patches.
About 30 years ago I won in a shooting match 3 bundles of 2.5x2.5 inch square military surplus patches. I think they were designed for cleaning 50 caliber machinegun barrels. In each bundle there was at least 1000 patches...maybe 2000. I have cleaned and cleaned and cleaned with never a thought of someday running out.
Well, the other day I noticed that I am getting close to the end of the supply, and now am out looking for more patches (never thought I would live that long). The patches I see nowdays in gun stores don't appear to be of good quality, plus in the small quantities as packaged, they are quiet expensive.
I doubt I will need another 30 year supply, but I would like to find about 2000 more of the same old patches. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I might find them?
