Looking for a laser boresight that will work with my mod. 41. I see there are several types out there and would like some feedback what has worked for those in the know. Thanks

Just curious, why do you think you need one? is there a problem you are trying to solve? I think I generally know what they are but never thought about using one. I thought they were mainly used for rifles.

I have a multi caliber LaserLyte green laser unit from Cabelas that I have used to sight iron sights and optics. It works fine with the model 41 but you need to sight it to a target (to see the laser dot and sight/dot alignment) at least 50' away. This will get you within about 2"-4" of a zero.

there is no problem to solve. Just trying to reduce the amount of ammo to be used for sighting in

I just got the cheap Pinty one off of Amazon. Only used it once, but have to say I was surprised at how well it worked.

What I did was first put the thing in an air rifle I had zeroed at 30ft, marking top on the laser housing, and calibrated/adjusted the laser until it matched where the scope said it should be. I then transferred it over to the rifle with the new red dot, orientated it the same way with the top marking, and zeroed it to the laser. Testing it at the range it was perfect at 30ft.

Having only done this once, can't say if it was dumb luck or not, but I just did the same thing with the new Ruger 10/22 to High Tower 90/22 conversion, and will see how it goes this weekend.

We have been using an MBS-1 Laserlyte for many years.
At 30' indoors we can get the windage really close and the range might need a few rounds depending on 25, 50 or 100yds.
Works in our 3.5" 460 and the MKIV Target
Scopes, irons and red dots.

They might have made some improvements and I have not tried the green version.
