Bob my prayers go up for your family. I pray that all is well for as long as possible. My wife brought home 2 little dogs 3 years ago. I never thought I would get attached to animals but now I know what you are feeling. They really are "man's best friend" I really hope the best for you and your wife and PJ

Sorry to hear that. I know it is sad to say but I am sure you now feel some "relief" and your little friend PJ no longer struggles. I'm sure you did all you could. Thanks for your update and my continued good wishes for you and the family.

I'm terribly sorry for your loss. That last decision is always heartbreaking but you did the right thing for your friend.

Rest in peace, PJ.

Prayers do work. And please accept mine for you, Sue and of course PJ. Have had many dogs over the years. There is still a bit of each one in my heart and mind. Frank

Please accept my condolences and my prayer is that PJ wil find the Rainbow Bridge quickly.

I feel for you, and understand your deep pain. Prayers sent. Over quite a few years, I've had to have a number of faithful dogs euthanized, and in the case of three of them, I had to do it by myself, mercifully and quickly with a .22. Nothing in my life has ever been harder for me to do. I know without a doubt that I've cried over more dogs than people. They are by and large selfless, loving and loyal - more than I can say for most humans. When it's their time and when they pass, it's heart-wrenching, for sure. May you meet again on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge. If dogs don't go to heaven, I'm not sure it would be heaven.

John

Sorry about your loss. Our struggles with our dog were a little like yours. Up one day, down another.

We now have an overgrown German Shepherd puppy. He'll never replace Husker, but he's a great dog and a nice distraction. I didn't want to get another dog after Husker died, but I'm glad now that we did.

Take care.
